This funky dj/musician from Rotterdam, born in the Netherlands 1982, was inspired by housemusic on a young age.

In 1994 he made his first mixtapes by a doubledeck casseterecorder. At the age of 14 he got his first turntable and a year later his second was there. He started buying records, mixing them, and became a dj for his neigboorhood. Since that time he could be found in musicstores all weekend long listening to new music.

Since 1999 he got in touch with housemusic and fell in love with this music and scene. He decided to stop spinning the harder sounds and get on with tech-house & groove. The track 'Forever Pt2', remixed by Harry 'choo choo' Romero for Subliminal Records, made a big impact to Ludaphunk.

After jobs like light-jockey and backup deejay in the Rotterdam Club Tomorrowland, he decided he wanted more. He took part in the TWSTD-dj contest in Amsterdam for the yearly dj competition, where the organisation picked out his cd and complimented him about the quality! It sounded not as a demo, they said, but like a professional mixalbum! Ludaphunk ended with the last 12 out of 150 dj's from the contest. Now he knew for sure he had to go on with the dj-work!

Next to playing tracks at parties and in Clubs, Ludaphunk nowadays creates his own music and remixes in his professional home studio with Leon Benesty and Benny Royal. Lots of DJs play their tracks in the clubs and on festivals now, supported by the enthousiastic crowd! Dance Electric, one of his productions, is signed to Roger Sanchez's label Release Yourself (NY)

Ludaphunk gives the audience a danceble feeling, his sound is related too Derrick l. Carter, Dj Sneak, Steve Bug, Masters at Work, Erick Morillo, Solid groove and Dj Roog, to name a few.
